SCHOOL NOTICE

Please note that like every other year, Calcutta Girls High School, Asansol will be celebrating Grandparents' Day on 07.11.2025 at 10:30 am in their school premises.

• All grandparents of our students are cordially invited to the programme.
• Students from Play Group to class V will take part in the programme and their grandparents are to accompany them to school for the programme.
• Kindly note that there will be no class for the above mentioned classes on that day.

All participants are to come in their respective costumes, fully prepared to take part. Non-participants must come in school uniform.

• Arrival for students of PG to cl V: 9:30 am
• Dispersal: After the programme is over with their grandparents.
• Please note that attendance is compulsory.

All other classes (VI – X) will go on as usual.

• Arrival (VI – X): 7.00 am
• Dispersal (VI – X): 1:00 pm

Please note that the school will give over at 11.40 am on this Monday 27.10.2025 due to road blockage in Asansol area due to Chhat.

• Day - 5 timetable to be followed.
• Arrival: 7.00 am (Prep 1 – cl X)
• Arrival: 7.50 am (PG only)
• Dispersal: 11.45 am (PG to cl X) All classes.

Those of you who have missed our open house date on 4/09/2025 may come and collect your ward's report cards and meet the teachers on 7/11/2025, Friday at 1 PM.

The last date for enrolling your ward’s name for the Excursion 2025-26 is 17th October 2025 (Friday) before 12 noon.

• After this deadline, journey tickets and other arrangements will be finalized – no new entries will be accepted.

This excursion is an important part of the school’s co-curricular programme. It helps students learn outside the classroom, develop teamwork, confidence, responsibility, and broaden their real-world understanding.

Kindly ensure your ward’s name is submitted in time.

Please note that like every year, this year is not an exception for Silver Zone Olympiads as you already know. The dates finalized for the various subject examinations in our school are given below:

Please note that the date for Grandparents’ Day has been shifted from 04.11.2025 to 07.11.2025.

Classes will resume from tomorrow, 08/10/2025 after puja vacation. Attendance is compulsory. Day 1 timetable to be followed.

• Arrival: 7 am (For classes Prep 1 to class X)
• Arrival: 7:50 am (For PG Only)
• Dispersal: 11:40 am (For play group to class II)
• Dispersal: 1 pm (For classes III to X)

To avoid payment of Rs. 2000 as re-admission charges, please pay 2nd quarter fees within 26/09/2025. After that office will not be able to help you in online payment.
